✨ About The Role
- The Compute Functional Safety Engineer will perform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on system and sub-system level architecture.
- This role involves working closely with systems engineers and design engineers to understand hardware requirements and capabilities.
- The engineer will develop and review test plans for verification of functional and fault injection tests for advanced compute and sensor hardware.
- The position requires detailed analysis of safety manuals provided by vendors for complex SOCs and microprocessors.
- The engineer will lead and participate in functional safety activities, including Fault Tree Analysis and Diagnostic Analysis.

- A bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Automotive, or Robotics Engineering is required for this position.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of work experience in high-performance compute design or validation.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 or other safety standards is essential for success in this role.
- Strong written and in-person communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience in automotive hardware design and validation will be considered a bonus.
