- The Market Development Manager will support and develop sales efforts for Automation and Digital Solution products within a designated geographic area.
- This role involves performing technical and sales training related to Xylem’s product portfolio, ensuring team members are well-equipped to meet customer needs.
- Achieving and surpassing sales quotas and goals for Automation and Digital Solution products is a key responsibility.
- The manager will coordinate sales efforts with various teams, including Direct Sales Representatives and Application Engineering Teams.
- Regular attendance at networking functions, trade shows, and business seminars is expected to represent the company professionally.

- A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, or equivalent experience in automation and controls is essential for this role.
- Candidates should possess strong technical aptitude and experience in industrial controls applications, including knowledge of PLCs and telemetry.
- Sales management experience in the water industry is highly desirable, indicating a strong background in the field.
- The ideal candidate must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is preferred, showcasing familiarity with sales processes.
