✨ About The Role

- The Senior Account Executive will focus on obtaining new business and expanding customer sales opportunities within State Government clients. - This role involves actively prospecting for sales opportunities and collaborating with internal teams to generate qualified leads. - Candidates will be responsible for presenting the Workiva platform to customers and demonstrating its value proposition. - Handling objections and removing barriers to gain commitment from clients is a key responsibility. - The position requires regular updates to customer relationship management tools and accurate sales forecasting.

- The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of sales experience, particularly in enterprise technology or Software as a Service (SaaS). - A strong understanding of the SaaS business model is preferred, along with experience selling to the office of the CFO. - The successful individual will possess excellent communication skills, particularly at the executive level, demonstrating an executive presence. - They should be adept at navigating complex sales cycles and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously. - A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota targets is essential for this role.
