- The Grants, Finance and Operations Manager will support the Country Director in implementing projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
- This role includes managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with donor policies, and maintaining program accounts.
- The manager will conduct pre-award due diligence and support the review of financial reports from grantees.
- The position involves developing and managing program budgets and monitoring financial performance against forecasts.
- The manager will also serve as the HR contact for all HR matters in the project, ensuring compliance with local labor legislation.
- The role requires organizing and facilitating post-award orientations for subrecipients and providing guidance on compliance issues.
- The position is contingent upon receipt of donor funding, emphasizing the need for adaptability and responsiveness to changing circumstances.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of six years of experience in finance and grants management, particularly under USAID or other international projects, is essential.
- Strong knowledge of donor and local financial and accounting regulations and procedures is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interface with staff members and external stakeholders.
- The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and a sense of responsibility in completing tasks.
- Proficiency in office software packages, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and QuickBooks, is important for this role.
- Fluency in Kyrgyz and English, both written and oral, is required for effective communication.
