- The Quality Technician I will perform quality control checks on Trojan products to ensure they meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Daily responsibilities include conducting dock audits and recording inspection and test results.
- The technician will maintain both hard copy and electronic records for the Quality Assurance Department.
- Reporting questionable items, materials, and processes to management for analysis is a key part of the role.
- The technician will perform various quality tests, including casting/pasting inspections and battery autopsy analysis.
- Understanding the battery manufacturing process from receiving through shipping is essential for this position.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and be able to read, write, and speak basic English.
- Previous manufacturing and plant experience is preferred, ideally around one year.
- Some formal quality assurance training will be beneficial for success in this role.
- The candidate should be comfortable using hand tools and learning specific machine controls and gauges.
- A strong understanding of specifications and labels associated with hazardous materials is important.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required for record-keeping and reporting tasks.
