Sr. Manager, Accounting

✨ About The Role

- The Sr. Manager, Accounting will lead all accounting, tax, reporting, and compliance functions for Snapnrack, a subsidiary of Sunrun. - This role involves establishing a separate Accounting department for Snapnrack and transitioning its accounting into Acumatica ERP from Oracle ERP. - The Sr. Manager will manage various accounting areas, including inventory/cost accounting, revenue, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. - Compliance management will include overseeing income tax, sales & use tax, and coordinating with external tax professionals. - The position requires leading treasury functions, managing banking relationships, and ensuring SOX controls are in place for Snapnrack. - The Sr. Manager will provide leadership and mentoring to junior accountants and support strategic finance activities such as budgeting and forecasting.

⚡ Requirements

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required for this role. - The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a management position. - A CPA certification and experience in public accounting, preferably from a Big 4 firm, is essential. - Strong knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with lease accounting, partnership, and fund accounting is highly desirable. - The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
