✨ About The Role
- The Principal Transportation Engineer / Project Manager will lead and mentor project teams on a variety of transportation design projects, including roadway studies and design.
- Responsibilities include preparing construction documents, cost estimates, project scheduling, and overall project management of large, complex highway corridors.
- The role involves participating in project scoping, fee estimating, proposal preparation, and client meetings to evaluate needs and resolve issues.
- The candidate will be expected to adhere to company standards for quality assurance and quality control as defined in the quality manual.
- This position offers opportunities to develop the Texas program while managing project scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, and resources.

- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the transportation engineering field.
- A Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, or the ability to obtain one within six months.
- The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience as a Project Manager on large or complex highway projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills are essential for guiding project teams and collaborating with clients.
- The candidate should have established relationships with key clients in the A/E/C industry and possess business acumen, including negotiation skills.
