✨ About The Role
- The Grid Study Engineer will conduct Grid Studies to assess compliance with Wind Farm developer requirements for offshore projects.
- Responsibilities include performing steady state, dynamic, transient, and frequency domain simulations.
- The role involves creating scripts to automate simulations and writing detailed reports on input data, results, and conclusions.
- The engineer will support field tests and assist Grid Engineering Managers in communicating study results.
- The position requires technical support to project and sales teams, contributing to the overall energy transformation goals of Siemens Gamesa.
âš¡ Requirements
- A successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in electrical power engineering, ideally with experience in Design and/or Grid compliance studies.
- The individual should possess experience in performing various electrical studies, including Harmonic Studies, Load Flow Analysis, and Dynamic Stability.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, PSS/E, and DIgSILENT Power Factory is essential.
- The ideal candidate will be self-driven, extroverted, and analytical, with the ability to manage complex tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English are necessary for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
