- The Ceramics Engineer will evaluate refractory and ceramic materials for use in the Rondo Heat Battery.
- Responsibilities include creating test plans and designs of experiments (DOEs) for the qualification of new materials and suppliers.
- The role involves researching and applying new processing techniques to enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of materials.
- The engineer will collaborate with the Technology team to develop and incorporate refractory and ceramic components into product designs.
- Communication of results and findings to stakeholders, both internal and external, is a key part of the job.

- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with refractory and ceramic materials is essential for this role.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail in testing and validation.
- Experience with precast and pressed refractory and ceramic components, such as bricks and castables, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with good laboratory practices (GLP) and handling materials in high-temperature applications is important.
