- The Senior SCADA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing SCADA systems for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage. - This role involves providing SCADA support during the construction and commissioning of renewable plants. - The engineer will define design criteria and ensure compliance with contractor and engineering requirements for control systems and communications schemes. - The position requires collaboration with various teams, including Asset Management, Operational Technology, and Construction site teams. - The engineer will assist in power plant performance analysis and root cause analysis for assets within Repsol Renewables. - Staying updated with advancements in SCADA technology and renewable energy trends is a key responsibility. - The role includes ensuring that projects meet all company cyber security and operational technology requirements.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline. - A minimum of 5 years of experience as a SCADA Engineer, OT Engineer, or Control Systems Engineer focused on renewable energy projects is required. - Proficiency in SCADA software and hardware, such as Wonderware, Ignition, or SEL, is essential for success in this role. - The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across various teams. - Experience with electric grid energy management systems or similar configurations is preferred. - Knowledge of cybersecurity practices relevant to industrial control systems is necessary. - The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively in high-pressure situations is crucial.
