✨ About The Role

- The Senior Chemical Engineer will support Redwood's Plant Design and Commissioning group, focusing on hydrometallurgy plants and related operations. - Responsibilities include working closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure processes are safe, efficient, and sustainable. - The role involves leading and participating in cross-functional teams to develop and implement new process plants and equipment. - The engineer will be responsible for test work and pilot plant design and operation, as well as flowsheet conceptualization and development. - The position requires conducting flowsheet trade-off evaluations and studies, along with process plant design and implementation assistance. - The engineer will also be involved in process plant commissioning and ramp-up activities.

âš¡ Requirements

- A successful candidate will have a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline. - The ideal individual will possess 5 to 7 years of experience in Chemical Plant Operations and/or Design and Commissioning. - Experience in large-scale industrial processing is essential, along with a proven track record of solving complex chemical and metallurgical process problems. - The candidate should be self-motivated with a hands-on approach and a strong initiative to drive improvements. - Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - A passion for sustainability and a commitment to making the world a better place will be key attributes for success in this role.
