✨ About The Role
- The Fleet Mechanic II will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles.
- The position requires the mechanic to operate from a field service truck, spending most of their time in the field rather than a maintenance shop.
- Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as performing equipment inspections and tune-ups.
- The mechanic will need to maintain accurate logs and reports using a Fleet Management Information System (FMIS).
- Adherence to safety rules and regulations is critical, as the job involves working in potentially hazardous conditions.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair, particularly with light and heavy fleet equipment.
- A successful Fleet Mechanic should possess a valid driver's license, with a preference for a CDL class A.
- Candidates should have experience working independently in the field, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines and the ability to operate diagnostic equipment is essential for this role.
