- The Fiber Splicing Technician will be responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company uniform policies.
- Responsibilities include traveling to client sites to troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications and data/IT equipment issues.
- The role involves fusion splicing, cable and enclosure preparation, and both aerial and underground splicing and cable installation.
- Candidates must be able to perform FO testing using OTDR, PM, and LS testing methods.
- The technician will also be responsible for properly terminating copper and fiber cables and understanding fiber-optic networks and terminology.
