- The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of Plug Power's fuel cell systems.
- This role involves researching and developing system requirements for new fuel cell applications in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- The engineer will conduct system-level analyses, including risk assessments and failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA).
- Responsibilities include creating and interpreting Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and developing controls solutions for fuel cell systems.
- The position requires ongoing communication with senior leadership regarding project progress and addressing priority issues.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related STEM discipline, with a preference for mechanical, electrical, chemical, or systems engineering.
- A minimum of five years of relevant work experience, particularly in fuel cell systems or a related field, is essential for success in this role.
- Strong knowledge of fuel cell systems, including their architecture, components, controls, and integration, is crucial.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts simply and effectively to diverse audiences.
