- The Engineering Intern will assist the Automation Engineering Department with various engineering initiatives and projects.
- Responsibilities include developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power's products and working with senior engineers to interpret and analyze data.
- The intern will focus on manufacturing process improvement through automation and the development of systems that communicate with manufacturing equipment.
- The role involves creating automation standards for future projects and improving manufacturing equipment's overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- The intern will also be expected to present results at the end of the program, showcasing their contributions to the projects.

- The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science or master's degree in a relevant engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, or Software Engineering.
- A successful candidate will have a solid hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to critically analyze data regarding system performance and reliability.
- Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred, indicating a familiarity with engineering processes and environments.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail are essential for driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication skills to represent Plug Power professionally in all interactions.
