- The Senior Sales Engineer will engage in strategic sales engagements to demonstrate the technical and business value of Planet's platform.
- Responsibilities include building and delivering presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
- The role involves creating relationships with customers' technical and management staff, acting as a trusted advisor.
- The candidate will respond to tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s, and proposals regarding product and solution information.
- Collaboration with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management, is crucial to represent the voice of the customer.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of total relevant experience, with at least 6 years in GIS or remote sensing.
- A strong background in using GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth Engine is essential.
- Candidates should possess a master's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Hindi is preferred for liaising with customers in the South Asian region.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in sales or pre-sales, is highly valued.
