- The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing and enhancing the supply chain for the smart metering business. - They will manage and strategically oversee logistics service providers for warehousing and transportation in Germany. - The role includes contract and price negotiations, relationship management, and handling escalations. - The candidate will optimize internal processes and those with service providers to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - They will implement and maintain reporting structures and develop risk management strategies for the supply chain. - Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards among service providers is a key responsibility.

- A successful candidate will have a degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. - They should possess several years of experience working with logistics service providers or in a strategic role within a logistics company. - Strong knowledge in warehouse logistics, transport logistics, and supply chain management is essential. - The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of resolving complex issues. - They should have experience in establishing and maintaining governance and reporting structures to monitor and evaluate service provider performance. - Excellent analytical skills are necessary for making data-driven decisions. - Strong communication and negotiation skills are required for effective interaction with external stakeholders. - Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
