✨ About The Role

- The Post-Production Intern will assist the Digital Programs team at OceanX Education, focusing on cataloguing and organizing nature footage. - The intern will work with CatDV to tag underwater footage with relevant species and information to enhance the footage archive's navigability. - Additional tasks may include editing select reels and supporting digital post-production workflows related to marine creatures and ocean environments. - The internship will run from June through August, requiring approximately 40 hours of work per week. - The role operates in a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both in-person collaboration in the NYC office and remote work.

âš¡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or is a recent graduate, particularly in Film, Video, Communications, or Ocean Science. - They should have experience with pre/post-production tasks, including data entry and logging video and photo metadata. - A basic understanding of digital post-production workflows and some editing experience would be advantageous. - The candidate should be determined, resourceful, and possess a strong work ethic, demonstrating a "roll up your sleeves" attitude. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks while meeting tight deadlines are essential. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for collaboration within the team. - A genuine curiosity and passion for ocean conservation and storytelling will contribute to their success in this role.
