- This role involves overseeing accounting, metrics, and budgeting processes for Technology operations at NRG.
- The Sr. Financial Analyst will coordinate and report on assigned Technology functions' budgets and planning processes, including the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasts.
- The position requires ensuring that all Technology capital and operating expenses finance processes adhere to NRG's accounting and financial reporting policies.
- The analyst will assist in the financial governance processes by providing timely monthly reporting and performance reviews to Technology Leadership and Management.
- Identifying process improvements and best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Technology and finance processes is a key responsibility.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, specifically in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for operating and capital expenses.
- A strong background in applied accounting is essential for this role, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related discipline, or have equivalent professional experience.
- The successful individual will be adept at coordinating budget and planning processes, demonstrating strong analytical skills to investigate variances in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to provide timely insights and support to resource and cost center managers.
