- The Senior Solar Project Engineer will manage engineering and design for solar power plants and energy storage systems.
- Responsibilities include leading energy modeling using Helioscope and PVSYST, and providing technical support throughout project phases.
- The role involves coordinating project-level engineering activities between various teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- The engineer will also be responsible for reviewing and approving equipment drawings and specifications for procurement.
- The position requires the ability to measure and mitigate project risks while maintaining a project risk register.

- A degree in engineering or an equivalent educational/certification background is essential for this role.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in designing, optimizing, and supporting ground-mounted PV projects.
- A strong understanding of Distributed Generation (DG) and Community Solar, along with its differences from Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility Scale Solar, is crucial.
- Proficiency in energy modeling and civil/electrical design, as well as knowledge of relevant codes, is necessary for success.
- The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
