- The Senior Interconnection Engineer will manage a portfolio of utility interconnection applications from submission to project closeout.
- This role requires functioning as a Subject Matter Expert on technical standards and requirements for Distributed Generation projects.
- The engineer will perform detailed reviews and analyses of technical documentation and utility interconnection applications.
- Collaboration with project managers on value engineering and cost optimization for projects is a key responsibility.
- The position involves leading technical assessments to identify and solve interconnection challenges in various regions.
- Participation in project design reviews and providing guidance on compliance with utility requirements is expected.
- The engineer will also support business development through pre-application activities and site selection analysis.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the utility, solar development, or consultancy sectors, focusing on interconnection-related activities.
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required for this position.
- Candidates should possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD software and moderate proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively conveying technical information and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
