- The Lead Interconnection Engineer will manage a portfolio of utility interconnection applications from submission to project closeout.
- This role requires acting as a Subject Matter Expert on technical standards and requirements for Distributed Generation projects.
- The engineer will perform detailed reviews and analyses of technical documentation and provide expert advice during study reviews.
- The position involves preparing interconnection cost estimations and assisting in identifying low-cost interconnection locations.
- The engineer will also mentor junior Interconnection Engineers and support business development through pre-application activities.

- The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience in utility, solar development, or consultancy, focusing on interconnection-related activities.
- A strong technical background in PV system design and interconnection is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and moderate skills in MS Office and collaboration tools are necessary for effective project management.
- The successful individual will demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
