✨ About The Role

- The Lead Controls Engineer will design, program, install, and test automation systems for PV and BESS projects. - This role involves planning and implementing PLC/HMI based control systems, primarily using SEL RTAC and AVEVA Perspective. - The engineer will manage GitHub and CodeSys libraries for various SEL products used in solar PV and BESS assets. - The position requires leading system designs for BMS, EMS, DAS, and SCADA systems in both DC-Coupled and AC-Coupled architectures. - The engineer will also participate in capacity testing for PV and BESS projects and ensure smooth integration of SCADA systems.

âš¡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in SCADA and controls system design, particularly in the renewable energy sector. - A strong background in IEC 61131-3 PLC programming, with at least 5 years of experience, is essential for success in this role. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming, especially with pointers in C, is required to effectively manage control systems. - The candidate should possess a deep understanding of technical communication protocols and controls software/hardware platforms. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex SCADA-related technical issues independently are crucial.
