- The Civil Project Engineer II will collaborate with engineers, project developers, and engineering consultants to review, design, and permit utility-scale solar PV and energy storage projects. - Primary responsibilities include site review, zoning/bylaws review, and managing survey, environmental, and engineering sub-consultants. - The role involves developing permit documentation and ensuring consistency with New Leaf Energy’s Utility-Scale Value Stream Map. - The successful candidate will work with state agencies, towns, and other stakeholders, presenting to planning and zoning boards as necessary. - The position reports to the Vice President of Civil Engineering and is part of a hybrid work environment.

- The ideal candidate will have 6-12 years of experience in site development, entitlement, and environmental permitting. - Experience in solar PV or energy storage projects is highly desired. - The successful individual will possess strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and lead meetings with various stakeholders. - Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously while being highly organized and detail-oriented is essential. - Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and HYDROCAD or equivalent design tools is preferred, though not mandatory.
