- The Director will lead the Indigenous Women's Leadership Network (IWLN) and the Colorado River Indigenous Youth Advisory Council (CRIYAC).
- Responsibilities include creating and implementing leadership development structures for emerging Indigenous leaders.
- The role involves defining learning objectives and competencies for CRIYAC members and tracking their progress.
- The Director will co-design and implement a curriculum that includes workshops, training sessions, and experiential learning opportunities.
- Recruitment of council members and mentors is a key responsibility of this position.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leadership development, particularly within Indigenous communities.
- A strong understanding of water policy and management in the Colorado River Basin is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to environmental justice and the principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC).
- Experience in program design and implementation, particularly in educational or mentorship settings, is highly valued.
