- The intern will work on integrating various commercial, open-source, and research software tools into large-scale co-optimization frameworks.
- The position involves using and advancing MDO4Grid, a multi-energy systems analysis automation and co-optimization framework.
- Interns will conduct integrated energy system analysis, including preparing data, configuring simulations, and troubleshooting.
- There is potential for contributing to publications and assisting with user guides and documentation.
- The role is a short-term opportunity lasting three months, with the possibility of extension.

- The ideal candidate should be enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree program, or have graduated within the past 12 months.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required for applicants.
- Candidates should possess programming experience in one or more modern programming languages.
- Experience with linking multiple software tools and conducting simulation and technoeconomic design for power systems is preferred.
- A strong enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative research is essential for success in this role.
