- The Environmental Inspector will conduct environmental and civil inspections on various construction projects across Ontario, primarily in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Responsibilities include completing on-site sediment and erosion control inspections at large infrastructure, municipal, and residential construction sites.
- The role involves supporting field-based project tasks, including deploying air quality monitors and performing soil sampling.
- The inspector will prepare daily summaries, photo logs, and reports on field activities.
- Engaging and liaising with stakeholders, including contractors, public agencies, and regulators, is a key part of the job.

- The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of inspection or environmental compliance experience in a consulting or directly related role.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in environmental planning, urban planning, geography, environmental science, or a related field is required.
- Candidates should possess strong communication skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- The successful applicant will demonstrate problem-solving skills and be a proactive communicator.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation such as the Fisheries Act, Endangered Species Act, and Environmental Protection Act is essential.
