- The selected candidate will work at the Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore, MD, supporting the Maryland Port Administration Office of Environment, Safety, and Sustainability.
- Responsibilities include project development and management, research and data analysis, and monitoring the effectiveness of sustainability programs.
- The role requires the ability to deliver presentations and provide technical support in areas related to sustainability and alternative energy.
- The candidate must be able to pass a background check to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) badge.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, ecology, biology, chemistry, geology, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in environmental science, regulations, engineering, or management is required for the Senior Environmental Specialist role.
- For the Senior Environmental Specialist II position, four years of relevant experience is necessary, with one year in a leadership role managing environmental projects.
- Candidates should possess strong technical writing skills, particularly in developing reports and project-related documents.
- Experience in sustainability strategies, energy efficiency, and climate change policies will be highly beneficial.
