✨ About The Role
- The Process Engineer I will identify improvement opportunities that align with strategic objectives and lead multi-disciplined teams to enhance existing processes and reduce costs.
- This position involves using process improvement methodologies such as DMAIC, DOE, FMEA, and Process Mapping to analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
- The engineer will work closely with operators to understand the capabilities and limitations of current processes.
- Essential duties include evaluating processes for efficiency and quality improvements, performing cost analysis, and collaborating with engineering teams on projects.
- The role also involves maintaining accurate records of projects and trials related to continuous improvement and product development.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering and up to three years of experience in process, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
- Candidates with five years of process improvement experience in lieu of an engineering degree will also be considered.
- A Green Belt Certification is preferred, indicating a strong foundation in process improvement methodologies.
- Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members at all levels.
- The role requires a self-starter with a professional attitude and a strong desire to achieve results.
