- The engineer will work independently while also reviewing the work of peer engineers and consultants.
- The position requires a thorough understanding of planning criteria, guidelines, and standards relevant to distribution planning.
- The engineer will represent the department on various industry-related committees and cross-functional teams.
- The role includes assisting during storm restoration efforts, highlighting the need for adaptability and teamwork.

- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and at least 7 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Advanced knowledge of electric distribution power systems and planning is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should possess strong analytical skills to assess complex distribution system interconnections and customer connections.
- Experience with engineering software packages such as CYME, PSS/E, SYNERGY, and ASPEN is highly desirable.
- The ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and team members is important for fostering a collaborative work environment.
