- The Lead Engineer will provide support for AVANGRID Energy Control Systems used to monitor and control gas environments.
- Responsibilities include defining and maintaining SCADA databases, telemetry data, and ensuring accurate information in the SCADA system.
- The role involves designing enhancements to the ECS systems to improve user interfaces and coordinating the commissioning of new intelligent electronic devices.
- The engineer will analyze key system data to ensure safe and reliable operation in accordance with operational standards.
- The position requires 24x7 on-call support of the Gas SCADA System and the ability to document commissioning procedures and provide troubleshooting assistance.

- The ideal candidate will have 5-10+ years of technical experience in energy control systems or a related field.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science is preferred, with a strong understanding of gas measurement fundamentals.
- The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in programming and commissioning remote terminal units (RTUs) and remote site equipment is essential.
- The ability to work independently and proactively drive results in a high-pressure environment is crucial for success in this role.
