✨ About The Role
- This position is responsible for accounting and financial reporting analysis under US GAAP and regulatory coordination for NYSEG and RG&E.
- The role involves overseeing all financial information related to NYSEG and RG&E, including standalone and FERC reporting.
- The candidate will act as the lead liaison with NY Regulatory and review all financial regulatory filings for NYSEG and RG&E.
- Responsibilities include reviewing and coordinating rate case data responses and assisting in the annual budgeting process.
- The role requires participation in the preparation and review of investment/divestment standards and related valuation work for NYSEG and RG&E.
- The candidate will develop, maintain, and oversee financial analysis related to ad-hoc requests and ongoing corporate objectives.
- Strong collaboration with centralized services across the Control team is necessary to ensure effective financial reporting and analysis.

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required, with a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience in the finance/control area.
- An advanced degree or certification is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise in the field.
- The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in accounting, finance, and regulatory accounting, with a strong understanding of financial statements and cash flows.
- Strong collaboration skills are essential, particularly in working across organizations and with various stakeholders.
- The candidate should have a strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel, and knowledge of SAP is necessary for this role.
