✨ About The Role
- The Senior Engineer - Automation will be responsible for software development and commissioning of automation systems including PLC, HMI, SCADA, and MES.
- The role involves PLC logic development, SCADA screen development, and the preparation of Functional Design Specifications (FDS).
- The engineer will conduct Software Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Electrical Panel FAT, as well as provide remote site support and onsite commissioning support.
- Extensive travel will be required, involving extended periods on sites throughout India and abroad.
- The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams within and outside the organization, working closely with GEA global and local teams.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, or a similar educational background.
- A successful applicant will possess 4-8 years of experience in the automation field, particularly within the Dairy, Brewery, Food, Beverages, Pharma, or Chemical industries.
- The candidate should have strong software logic development skills and experience with automation platforms, particularly Siemens.
- Proficiency in various programming languages such as ladder, SCL, STL, and FBD is essential for this role.
- The individual must be capable of working independently and remotely, demonstrating adaptability across job functions and responsibilities.
