- The Sales Engineer will be responsible for achieving a yearly order and margin intake budget while developing service and parts business in a designated territory.
- The role involves generating and maximizing sales opportunities and maintaining customer relationships within the sales territory.
- The candidate will provide process support and expertise for new and existing installations, creating customized sales proposals based on customer needs.
- The position requires attending trade shows and seminars quarterly to market GEA Separator products and making technical or sales presentations monthly.
- The Sales Engineer will prepare technical proposals and presentations for review before submission to customers or prospects.
- Monthly sales project status reports will be provided to the assigned Director and Senior Marketing Manager, detailing project funding and competitive positioning.
- The role includes post-sales support, technical troubleshooting, and customer training to ensure satisfaction with GEA products and services.

- A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant technical selling experience.
- The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong technical background is essential, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build rapport and establish strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- The candidate should be self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
- Willingness to travel frequently, with 2-3 hotel stays per week, is a must for this role.
