- The role involves developing and implementing new processes in the field of renewable raw materials, primarily focusing on industrial biotechnology and applications of starch and plant proteins. - Responsibilities include planning and conducting process engineering experiments in both laboratory and pilot scales, including technical, economic, and ecological evaluations. - The position requires collecting and assessing new processes and monitoring relevant patents, as well as contributing to patent protection efforts. - The engineer will provide process engineering support for sales and service inquiries related to specific applications. - The role includes independent project management of process engineering development projects in relevant applications.

- A successful candidate will have a completed degree in Industrial Biotechnology, Food Technology, Process Engineering, or a comparable qualification. - The ideal individual will possess initial experience in starch or plant protein extraction or industrial biotechnology. - Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role. - Proficiency in both English and German is required, along with a willingness to travel internationally. - Business management knowledge would be advantageous for this position.
