✨ About The Role

- The Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes in an industrial plant. - This role involves optimizing the use of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to enhance operational efficiency. - The engineer will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes and products. - Collaboration with product design teams is necessary to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products. - Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues is a key responsibility. - The engineer will develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. - Participation in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement projects, such as Lean Manufacturing initiatives, is expected. - Providing technical support and training to production personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards is part of the role.

âš¡ Requirements

- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, with an advanced degree being a plus. - The ideal individual will possess 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process optimization. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen is essential for this role. - Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD, as well as manufacturing software such as ERP or MES, is required. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong attention to detail, are crucial for success in this position. - The candidate should have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-department teams and manage stakeholders. - Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication, and assembly processes is preferred. - A continuous improvement mindset focused on operational excellence and measurable results will be beneficial.
