✨ About The Role
- The Field Service Engineer will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- The role involves both planned and unplanned maintenance on SFT equipment, including separators, decanters, and homogenizers.
- The engineer will oversee the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new machines and process lines.
- Providing technical support during equipment breakdowns or technical issues is a key responsibility.
- The engineer will train operators and first-line maintenance personnel at customer sites according to company standards.
- Travel is a significant part of the job, with expectations of 3-4 days a week on the road.

- The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly and disassembly is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in Finnish and good English communication skills are required.
- The candidate should be flexible regarding travel and working hours, as the job involves significant travel throughout Finland and occasionally to Sweden and Norway.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle pressure to meet customer demands are important for success in this position.
- The candidate should excel at building relationships with customers and colleagues within GEA.
