- The Automation Service Support Engineer will provide expert technical support to global customers for legacy GEA equipment.
- This role involves remote troubleshooting and technical advice to ensure customers' equipment is restored to full functionality.
- The engineer will guide customers in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, controls, and instrumentation faults remotely.
- Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving automation software issues related to PLC, HMI, SCADA, and PC systems.
- The role also involves advising customers on equipment upgrades and preparing technical quotations for upgrade solutions.

- The ideal candidate will have a proven background in Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation (EC&I) and software design for process or equipment control within the Life Sciences industry or a similar process-driven sector.
- A relevant HNC/D qualification is required for this role.
- Candidates should possess a minimum of five years' experience in EC&I, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for effective customer interactions.
- The successful individual will be highly motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on fault-finding expertise.
