- The Systems Engineer will work with multi-disciplinary teams to verify and validate energy storage requirements against technical and customer specifications.
- Responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of the electrical, mechanical, functional, and safety design of Fluence’s products.
- The role involves creating system and subsystem test plans, detailed test procedures, and an overall testing strategy for products under development.
- The engineer will support the test execution team at Fluence test labs and travel periodically to enhance understanding of lab capabilities and processes.
- Collaboration with the product certification team is required to ensure compliance with product safety standards.

- A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field is essential for this role.
- Candidates should have 2-5 years of industry experience, particularly in renewable energy systems, power conversion, or energy storage.
- Experience in developing or executing product test plans is crucial for success in this position.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for energy storage and collaborative engineering are highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
