- The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for new order bookings for Fluence Digital's optimization and algorithmic bidding software, Mosaic, in the North America region.
- The role involves managing relationships with key accounts, including investor-owned utilities, retailers, and independent power producers.
- The candidate will lead proposal activities for customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and coordinate internal teams to meet customer requirements.
- Tracking customer readiness and maintaining accurate records in the customer relationship management system is a key responsibility.
- The position requires collaboration with Product Managers and Marketing to create effective sales collateral that resonates with customers and prospects.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in North American Energy Markets, particularly in ERCOT, CAISO, or MISO.
- Experience in origination, structuring, negotiating, contract execution, and settlement is essential, ideally in roles related to power marketing, procurement, trading, or project finance.
- Strong communication skills are necessary, as the role involves interaction with customers and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across various regions and time zones.
- A proactive and independent work ethic is crucial, as the candidate will need to manage relationships and sales strategies autonomously.
- A bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Business is preferred, with an MBA being a plus.
