- The Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for optimizing the in-service product line at Fluence. - This role involves leading investigations and resolving challenging problems related to battery energy storage systems. - The successful candidate will develop a holistic view of the product and lead initiatives to optimize product performance. - The position requires preparing change requests, technical bulletins, and design documents for product changes. - The engineer will conduct project site visits to enhance technical knowledge and support project teams. - The role includes leading the preparation and execution of tests for battery energy storage systems. - Mentorship of colleagues and fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement is a key responsibility.

⚡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in battery energy storage or the electric power industry is required. - The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of electrical, control, and systems principles related to grid-scale battery energy storage systems. - Strong technical leadership skills are essential, with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems. - The candidate should be a natural problem solver, familiar with root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving methodologies. - Effective written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary for success in this role. - The candidate should be results-oriented and able to cultivate collaborative cross-functional relationships.
