- The Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for optimizing the in-service product line at Fluence, focusing on battery energy storage systems. - This role involves leading investigations and resolving complex electrical and control problems affecting product performance. - The engineer will prepare change requests, technical bulletins, and design documents to implement product changes in the factory and field. - The position requires conducting site visits to battery energy storage system projects to gather insights and support project teams. - The engineer will also lead the preparation and execution of tests for battery energy storage systems at Fluence lab facilities in multiple countries.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in battery energy storage or related fields. - A strong technical background in electrical, control, and systems principles of grid-scale battery energy storage systems is essential. - The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving methodologies. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English are crucial for engaging with leadership and stakeholders. - The candidate should be a natural leader, capable of mentoring and fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement among colleagues.
