✨ About The Role
- The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for commissioning Fluence projects in collaboration with various stakeholders, including construction managers, contractors, and control systems teams.
- The role involves developing and executing commissioning plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
- The engineer will lead the commissioning efforts to achieve commercial operations and facilitate the handover from the delivery/construction team to the operations and maintenance team.
- Responsibilities include defining and executing testing protocols based on market rules and local utility requirements.
- The engineer will oversee the complete commissioning and acceptance testing of project networks, communications, control systems, and various electrical subsystems.

- The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and at least ten years of professional experience in related fields such as construction, commissioning, project management, performance testing, and troubleshooting.
- A strong background in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including switchgears, protective relays, power transformers, and grid tie inverters, is essential.
- The successful candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and have knowledge of testing equipment operations.
- Familiarity with SCADA protocols and PLC systems, particularly Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley ControlLogix, is highly desirable.
- The candidate should demonstrate a proven track record of success on challenging projects, showcasing ownership, creativity, and initiative.
