- The Business Development Manager will identify new market segments and applications for energy storage products. - The role involves performing market segmentation of key customers by region and application, collaborating with leadership to develop go-to-market plans. - The candidate will engage analytically and at a policy level with customers to drive market opening and collaborate with the Market Applications team. - Responsibilities include technoeconomic modeling of various use cases, such as solar + storage and microgrids. - The position requires the development and management of approved sales channels and the formulation of sales/marketing programs.

- The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy industry and a strong understanding of market fundamentals that drive investment decisions in the sector. - A background in building and maintaining analytic models is essential for success in this role. - Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Matlab, or Python is preferred, indicating a strong technical skill set. - The candidate should possess strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively. - A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably electrical, is required, along with the ability to review contracts and technical requirements.
