- The Principal Consultant will manage and provide technical expertise on capital delivery permitting projects for various clients.
- Responsibilities include preparing permit applications for energy development projects and participating in agency consultations and project meetings.
- The role requires familiarity with USACE and other state/local permitting requirements.
- The candidate will collaborate with other ERM practitioners to execute natural resources impact assessments and capital project permitting.
- Travel up to 20% of the time is expected for agency meetings, project team meetings, or site visits.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, natural resources, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 6-8 years of consulting or industry experience, with a preference for 10+ years, is required.
- The candidate should possess strong technical writing and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience in permitting tasks for capital development projects, particularly electric transmission lines, is highly desired.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate well-developed teambuilding and influencing skills, along with unquestioned integrity.
