- The Principal Consultant will provide leadership and strategic direction for expanding ERM's EHS compliance area and client base.
- The role involves identifying and developing new opportunities, preparing technical proposals, and leading business development efforts.
- The consultant will direct strategic environmental permits, inspections, and compliance assurance programs for various industrial clients.
- Strong relationships with clients will be developed to understand their processes and create effective permitting and compliance strategies.
- The role includes mentoring junior and mid-level staff in planning and executing compliance projects.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in engineering, environmental science, or a related field, with a PE license being desirable.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in environmental/compliance consulting is required, with 10+ years preferred.
- The successful candidate will have a well-established reputation and recognized technical expertise in the marketplace.
- Proven experience in business development for environmental/regulatory compliance contracts is essential.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills are necessary for success in this role.
