- The Principal Geotechnical Engineer will lead design team efforts and provide project support for various civil and geotechnical projects.
- This role involves collaborating with ERM teams and Principal Consultants to deliver industry-leading services to clients.
- The successful candidate will manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff and overseeing their work to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- The position requires managing health, safety, and risk aspects of projects in compliance with ERM's Health and Safety Program.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Geotechnical, or a related engineering field.
- Candidates should have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam or be licensed as a Professional Engineer.
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressively complex design experience is required, particularly in consulting for private-sector clients.
- Strong field experience, including construction inspection or oversight, is also considered valuable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential, with at least 2 years of experience in grading, profiles, and integrating survey data.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, particularly in conveying complex technical knowledge to various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail is crucial, especially in quality assurance and quality control reviews of junior staff deliverables.
