- The Managing Consultant - Noise Engineer will provide high-quality noise assessments and modeling noise impacts for clients.
- Responsibilities include conducting pre-and-post construction noise surveys and providing noise mitigation recommendations.
- The role involves analyzing data from various sources to assess construction noise impacts on projects.
- The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert for noise impact analysis in Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements.
- Collaboration with ERM’s acoustic team and participation in agency consultations and public meetings are key aspects of the job.
- The consultant will prepare scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates for noise impact studies.
- The position requires completing work assignments in accordance with ERM's management system and quality standards.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Engineering or a Science discipline, or equivalent experience of at least 8 years.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in acoustic engineering or related fields is required, with direct consulting or industry experience being a plus.
- Proficiency in noise modeling software such as SoundPlan, CadnaA, or Predictor is essential for success in this role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze data logically are crucial for conducting noise assessments and impact modeling.
- The candidate should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing detailed technical reports.
