- The Managing Consultant, Environmental Planning will support permitting, regulatory compliance, and NEPA projects for energy clients in the western US.
- Responsibilities include providing technical consulting support for environmental permitting and compliance for development projects, particularly in power generation and renewable energy.
- The role involves preparing impact assessment deliverables, including report writing and data collection.
- Collaboration with other impact assessment practitioners across multiple offices is a key aspect of executing projects.
- The position requires interaction with clients and their subject matter experts on biology and environmental science matters.

- A successful candidate will have a bachelor's and/or master's degree in environmental science/engineering, biology/ecology, planning, or a similar field.
- The role requires a minimum of 5 years of impact assessment and environmental permitting experience, ideally within a consulting environment.
- Strong technical competence and a broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices, particularly in the energy sector, are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, with experience in writing comprehensive technical reports.
- The ideal candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines.
