- The role involves planning and executing field remediation and DDD construction projects, including design reviews and cost estimations.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing contractors, subcontractors, and construction inspectors to ensure safe implementation of field work.
- Responsibilities include reviewing contractor submittals and providing construction management and quality assurance.
- The position requires developing and implementing site-specific Health & Safety Plans and conducting daily safety briefings.
- The candidate will coordinate the resolution of issues arising from inspections and contract administration.
- The role includes liaising between field activities and in-house Project Managers to ensure project completion in accordance with plans and specifications.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have substantial experience as a construction supervisor or a relevant degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering and construction management consulting is required, with 8 to 15 years preferred.
- The candidate should have experience managing construction sites, particularly in demolition, decontamination, and decommissioning (DDD).
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety protocols is essential, with OSHA 30-hour and 40-hour training required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary to provide quality project delivery and client service.
- The successful candidate will be proficient in overseeing subcontractors and coordinating field personnel.
- Willingness to travel for 75% of the duration of construction projects is a must.
